11/16/08 circa 6 PM got an email acceptance from Duke! Unexpected on a Sunday, but very glad to get it!
11/21/08 Got big acceptance package from Duke, time to start working on financial aid
11/25/08 In at Harvard Law! Boo-ya! Got Toby Stock call at like 1:30 PM
11/25/08 What a great day! In at Berkeley, Dean of Admissions called me at around 5:30 PM and told me they would fly me out to admitted students weekend April 3rd! San Francisco here I come!
12/10/08 Yay! Received my big crimson binder from HLS! Acceptance letter has a handwritten note from TS saying "I hope you bring your interest in EU law to HLS next Fall"
12/17/08 Status changed to decision at Michigan
12/18/08 Received blue packet and USB drive with acceptance from Michigan! Acceptance letter had a handwritten note saying, "Your personal statement was excellent!"
12/18/08 received snail mail Yale Law School solicitation for application, encouraging me to apply and included fee waiver app, not applying but very honored!
12/22/08 Received letter inviting me to apply for scholarships at GULC at my permanent address, also received holiday card from GULC

Unfortunately not. Although on LSD (lawschooldiscussion.org) several people got their acceptances before anything changed on their online status checker. Georgetown seems to be doing the same thing as well. Apparently schools don't want a million requests for decision status over the phone so they wait to change the online check until after they think you've received the letter/phone call. Hope this helps, if you hear anything different let me know. Good luck on your cycle, nice to see a fellow Hispanic doing well!

I was wondering if you could please just tell me a little about yourself, to give me some insight...We basically have the same numbers, although I am applying next year. I was really thrilled to see someone with my numbers accepted this early in the game.
Is there any way you could give me any advice? What did you do as an undergraduate that set you aside from the rest? Was there something specific about your essays? etc. From one fellow applicant to another, I'm really interested.
