Additional info & updates

All scholarship information is three year total.

1/15/11: I'm pretty happy with how my cycle is going. I've been accepted at Case (my number one school), Pitt, Akron, and Capital. Waitlisted at OSU and Cincy, which isn't terrible news. Thought I'd get into Cincy without the WL though.

1/28/11: I got the ding from Indiana. No surprise and never even really wanted to go there. On the good side, I got into Cleveland State with a $12,000/yr scholarship. That's really good news for me. It's a very respected school in an area where I want to practice. Case is the better school, but that cost difference is too much to pass.

2/3/11: Still on OSU and Cincy's waitlists. I think I might send them both LOCI's to try and get into one of the two. I'd really like to get into Ohio State, my alma mater.

2/10/11: I'm starting to get a little impatient. Case is still my target school, but there is no way I can justify paying $42,000 at sticker. I've received $36k from CSU, $45k from Capital, and I expect to get something from Akron (hopefully in the near future). The more scholarship offers come in, the more and more Case moves down from its #1 ranking for me.

2/25/11: Just received $17,000 per year from Akron. I now have three scholarships from Ohio schools. I also sent a LOCI to OSU this week so I'm really hoping to hear something from them in the near future as well.

Cleveland or Akron?

Congrats on your acceptances so far. Have you visited the law schools at Akron and Cleveland? I was curious to know which one you liked better?

Akron vs. Cleveland

No, I haven't visited Akron or Cleveland State but I do plan on visiting CSU in the near future. The scholarship stipulation at Akron seems too difficult for me to really consider going there given my other acceptances.
