I applied to 20+ Law Schools. If I could do it all over again I would apply to more reaches and less safteys. Easier said then done, naturally, I began to panic in November, and thus, the absurd amount of schools.

If it stays as is I am deciding between American, Cardozo, and UHouston any thoughts thoughts...

UH is more than free, my scholarships cover tution, books, and a little more. Also Im from Houston.

I would love to be in NYC, but Dozo's recent drop is disconcerning. Also as for AU, big fan, DC would rock, and I am intersted in International Law. Truthfully, I would like to go to a school that has a national name, and of the three AU fits the profile the most.

I'm still hoping to get off the wait list at Fordham. that would be sweet

07/23This late in the game I just got off the wait list at Fordham, causing ruckuss in the process.

I've been living in DC for the past two + years and would def. recommend AU over Cardoza...particularly depending on what sort of law you want to go in to. DC is a fabulous place for up and coming lawyers/law students. The networking opportunities for local, national and international connections can not be beat. I'm in a similar boat and am pretty much just waiting my Gtown and GW dings now. Good lic with the rest of the cycle!

I'm pretty sure I met you at UH admitted students day last week. I think we were in the same group for the tour. What were your thoughts on Houston? Keep me updated on your plans for the fall.
