Additional info & updates

After graduating I was awarded a one-year teaching grant from the Spanish Min. of Education.

3-13-09: Got a call from OSU yesterday informing me of my acceptance! Woohoo!! OSU and American U? I've got a hard decision to make. Anyone out there that can provide me with impressions / info on either school would be a great help. As a Columbus resident, I know I'll be happy at OSU and that I'll benefit from the school's excellent reputation. On the other hand, life in DC would be exciting, and AU's emphasis on International Law is extremely appealing.

One's over 2x the price of the other though... help!!

3-16-09: Status check at Temple says a decision has been made. Got some confirmation from others that that means rejection. That's fine. I'm in at my top two schools. First bit of bad news for me, and it was bound to come.
