Additional info & updates

NYU - I was waitlisted on 4/14, accepted via letter (big envelope) dated May 23, arrived May 25. What should I do ?!?!

Chicago - accepted off waitlist via phone call. they said probably no merit money left, but they'll review my file. that probably means no.

Cornell - by email

UVA - By phone call. My status checker still said "Decision: not yet" until the day after he called, so it must not be that accurate. $15,000 per year by letter dated 3/28/05.

UMich - Huge envelope, by mail. $7,000 per year by phone call 3/28/05.

Northwestern - email - offered me $66,000 via email. Yay!

Wash U - accepted by email, followed by letter, then a huge binder, then a scholarship for $66,000 over 3 years.

Ummm...So I can't figure out how to respond to the comments, clearly I am an idiot. Anyway... in response to jobywocky - with 45,000 at UVa it is even cheaper than NU so I will probably go to UVa (which had been one of my first choices from the beginning of the process). If they hadn't given me as much money I would have strongly considered NU.

...on your Northwestern scholarship! I'm just curious: what would make you decide to attend/not attend NW? (I'm in the same boat as you -- scholarship at NW, still waiting on my other schools -- so I'm just trying to get a feel for how other people are thinking.)

Good luck!
