WL at LSU is good. You'll probably get in and that's great. As someone who worked in undergrad at the LSU Law Center, quite a few years ago, I thought it was a really good school. Best of luck in getting off the WL and getting accepted.

Do they often take people off of the waitlist?

Often or not, this is the year where it is a good sign to be on the waitlist so early in the cycle. The way it should go is that some of the high formula students will get into UT or one of the East coast schools, not expecting to, and you'll slide into LSU...I'm thinking.
