Hey! I was deferred as an early decision applicant and waitlisted via email today. I am so disappointed, even though this isn't exactly shocking. I am prepared to ride out the waitlist until August if I have to, as I plan to stay in Missouri if things don't work out. Good luck with your cycle - you are applying to quite a few schools! Thanks, I am just glad this is almost over for me. I'm not sure whether I'll stay in Missouri or not. Right now, it's one of the better schools, and probably the best price tag, but I am trying to weigh it all out.

I originally applied for that program but since I got into CLEO I told them that I was no longer interested in the SCALE option. However, they still turned me down for a slot in the FT division despite my acceptance into CLEO. Oh well. But best of luck to you! – bncounter6

I considered Loyola, especially liked the entertainment law emphasis. I had a family friend who attended for a year and told me he didnt enjoy it. Plus, I'm trying to stay out of downtown with the obvious exceptions of UCLA and SC. Have you checked out Southwestern? – tiger27

Well I applied to two schools in LA at the last minute because there was a chance my significant other might move out there. I wanted an option on the west coast to cover my bases but I also don't feel like jumping through hoops to get off a wait list when the chance of my moving is slim -- so, I withdrew from SW. – notafraidoftorts

No, I visited it and came to the same conclusion as with LMU... just don't want the big city atmosphere because I feel like I would be distracted. Congratulations though! Southwestern is a very good school – tiger27
