I am curious how UNC sent your rejection. Was it via email or snail mail?
I am not sure about the waitlist. I think the first deposit deadline is April 1st so if you hear soon after that you must be at the top of the list!! Getting housing in DC is a nightmare so that should be intersting. Good luck!

Hi there. you're in a great position. Both schools are really great and have so many opportunities. They are very similar in many ways because of their rankings and relative locations. But as I'm sure you know LA and NY are worlds apart and different. As both schools are heavily regional you'll simply have to decide where you want to end up working. If you want LA or california go to Loyola. If you want NY Brooklyn will be best. It'll be hard to come back for at least 5-10 years after you've been working. NY has a lot of competition as there are so many T25 schools in the state and in the vicinity. The west coast does not have as many top top law schools. We have Stanford/Berkeley and a sprinkle of good schools. Of course T14's can make it to the west but it's not the same. Lots to think about but you're in a good position. They're both great shcools. ;)
oh and have you tried to negotiate some many from Loyola. you've been accepted with good money from several rival schools. If you explain the situation with Brooklyn v Loyola they should give you something nice. :) good luck.
