Additional info & updates

The whole process has left me feeling rather sour. The waiting is infuriating. I dropped 13 points on my first LSAT from what I had been averaging the days before under actual conditions. I feel like I busted my ass and did not get a whole lot out of it.

The schools that accepted me let me know very quickly. The schools that didn't took their sweet time.

So after getting only good news to begin with I got only bad news after my first four initial acceptances.

Chicago accepted me if I defer to the class of '09.

Thanks for the Congrats. Boalt is a great school, its hard when you set your mind on a goal and things don't work out, to keep perspective. One of the reasons I'm upset is because I slacked in High School and got in to a good college on my very high SAT. In college I resolved not to slack and didn't, with the goal of getting into HYS. Hard to feel I worked really hard and pretty much blew it in three hours of my first LSAT. Why Boalt over NYU: main reason is the student body. I feel the student body at Boalt is much more relaxed. At NYU it seemed like everyone was looking for BigLaw and ultra competitive. I thought I would d better at Boalt and enjoy it more. NYU didn't seem to have much of a community everyone seemed to be doing their own thing. I AM A HUGE DOORS FAN. RIP Jim MORRISON
