Re: Race and Blackman

Blackman has something up his a$$. Just because you're not white means nothing. In fact, affirmative action is BS anyway. Everyone should be treated the same, regardless of race, color, creed or sex. It's just a fact. A race does not determine your grades or your LSAT score. I'm a URM myself, but I'd rather get into schools knowing it's because of my performance in undegrad, rather than my race. I think this racial stuff is BS and there's no reason to favor one race over any other. And the yield ploy, I hear that. I got lots of fee waivers that I felt were only yield ploys, in particular the one I received from IU. I was very upset to get that denial letter, but that's the only reason schools really send them out is to help their yield numbers.
