Additional info & updates

At this point I'm clueless on my next step. I have planned on law school for the last 3 years, but I'm having some doubts after the horror stories I'm hearing about job prospects. For now, I'm just going to get the apps out and see who bites.

12-7-09 Rejected at Cincinnati. I'm shocked. This was probably my first choice and a school I had targeted as more of a safe school. I thought for sure I would get in and this has really turned the whole going to law school thing upside down for me. Can't describe how shocked/upset/pissed I am. Damn.

12-7-09 Accepted at Denver with a 17k per year scholarship as long I keep at least a 3.0 gpa. Not a bad offer but Denver is still very pricey regardless.

12-8-09 Rejected at UK...WTF?!?!

12-8-09 Rejected at Fordham's PT program. Not a huge shocker here as I was not really expecting to get in...still shocked about UC and UK though as I had really targeted those as my middle of the road median schools...

Wow! I am shocked that you were rejected from UC! I would really love to be accepted there and have been holding on to a littttle bit of hope, but I think after seeing your decision I'm not sure if I can hold out much hope at all! So sorry. I'm sure you'll get good replies from your other schools!

Hate to hear that you were turned down by UK, considering your numbers seem like you'd be pretty competitive. Care to offer any honest insight as to possible reasons why you were rejected? Based on your softs and numbers, I'm shocked.

Wow hate to hear that, but I'm guessing that certainly is what dinged you. Don't let it get you down, it's clear that you have the brains to succeed in law school and I think whatever school you end up at, I'm sure you'll be in the top 10%. Good luck, it'll turn around.

I agree with schmohawk. It's a shame that's what hurt you; it's clear you have drive if you overcame some trouble and applied to law school. I am sure that same drive will serve you well wherever you end up going. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Hi there. I feel your pain with UC. I'm from Ohio and thought it was more of a safety school and was put on the WL. I got into Case soon after though, so best of luck with that!!
