Additional info & updates

Scholarship amounts are per year.

Put in apps late due to a letter of rec issue--wish I had just put in the apps anyway, but that's how it goes--we'll see how much it hurts my chances. An ordinary sob story about the lsat in an addendum, silly arrest addendum as well. Economically disadvantaged upbringing, have been teaching children of a similar background since UG. Discussed this in my PS.

Uconn is tops mostly for their clinics and I like that area of the country, but need some fin aid to make law school a possibility for next year.

Just playing the lovely waiting game at the moment, with the usual OCD tendencies. The mailbox in my apt building is probably going to break soon, and oh how I wish I had never discovered this damn website. I'll stay true to my flaws and update as decisions mosey on in.

Good luck with your cycle!

4.22 Uconn - Waitlisted by snail mail

4.26 GW - Rejected by snail mail (Did not hear anything about going complete... should have told me something?)

4.29 CU - Rejected by snail mail... apply early and numbers matter above all else: lesson learned. Seriously considering a 2nd cycle; teachin' the kids for one more year doesn't have much of a downside. Fortunately, most of you are interested in anything but public interest (who doesn't want a yacht?), and while a tier one would open doors, a lower tier probably won't hurt my chances of finding meaningful employment. In the words of Cuba... GGU, "show me the money!"

5.1 Pacific - Got a fin aid snail mail letter requesting documents... haven't heard on the decision yet, haha.

5.4 Pacific - Accepted with Scholly by email. Package being mailed tomorrow.

5.6 Seton Hall - Went complete via snail mail.

5.7 Pacific - Acceptance packet via snail mail. Scholarship info inside, contingent upon top 1/3 of class.

5.8 Seton hall - Went complete again via snail mail, not the most efficient of admissions offices apparently.

5.12 Golden Gate - Email inviting me to a brunch for Fall Scholarship recipients. Package sent Today. We'll see what kind of money we're talkin' in a few days.

5.15 Golden Gate - Acceptance packet via snail mail. Scholarship info inside. Contingent upon 3.0.

6.17 Seton Hall - Acceptance packet via snail mail. Scholarship info inside, contingent on good academic standing. Oh how I wish tuition wasn't 45K.
