2-3-11, in at Idaho via a phone call this evening! First (but hopefully not the last) acceptance! So excited!

2-9-11, accepted to FCSL via status checker. Feeling good but am anxious for the remaining decisions!

2-14-11, accepted to Widener via status checker. 3/3 thus far, but still waiting for updates from regional schools that are my top picks.

2-16-11, denied by Michigan State today. Disappointed, yet relieved to hear their final decision. The waiting game is testing my patience!

2-24-11, denied by Willamette today via postal mail. Disappointed, as it was a slight reach school, but also one of my top choices. Time to reshuffle the list I suppose. Even if the news is disappointing, it still feels better than no news at all. Does that make sense?

3-4-11, denied by Utah via USPS. This one stings quite a bit... was hoping for admission so I could attend somewhere that was close to my husband and kids who will stay behind while I go to law school. They would have been within a 3-hour drive had I attended Utah. Feeling very sad about this one. Sigh.

3-11-11, waitlisted at Vermont via email and status checker.

3-11-11, denied by Lewis & Clark via email. This school was a long shot for me, so this decision was somewhat expected. Still, so disappointing.

3-11-11, also waitlisted at Montana via email. My application will go through another round of review with a final decision by 4-15-11. Another month to wait for the final call. Sigh.

3-24-11, denied by Gonzaga via USPS.

4-5-11, denied by South Dakota via USPS. This one was a surprise, as I considered SD a safety school. One school closer to Idaho it seems.

4-15-11, updated my file at Montana and advised them I want to remain on their waitlist for the time being.

4-25-11, FINALLY heard from Oregon... denied. I can't believe it took this long to come to a final decision. Would have loved that school, but am not impressed at all by their efficiency.

Yes, my family will stay behind no matter where I go... for the first year at least, possibly all three years. U of Idaho is a day's drive from our current home... same state, but still far away. :-(
