12/23 I am officially an MSW now! Still waiting for my last LoR and LSAT scores.

12/28 Oh so disappointed in my LSAT score, but I'm going to stay positive!

12/29 Just got an email from Florida Coastal...inviting me to apply and stating that I am eligible for a scholarship. :-)

1/10/09 DePaul status check says I should have a decision in 2-3 weeks. Applied to UNM today. I need to be somewhere warm!

1/11 Applied to Stetson and Santa Clara. Complete email from DePaul.

1/13 American's status checker changed my complete date from 1/5 to today. Not sure what that's all about...

1/15 Gulp...decision mailed from American today...

1/19 Rejection from American. Not really surprised and not even all that upset about it. No desire to live in the DC area. Crappy way to start out, but it's nice to have a decision from someone.

1/25 Complete at UNM, I would LOVE to go there. Also decision sent from DePaul...being a Chicago girl, I would be thrilled with a big fat yes from them. They accepted me as an undergrad and a grad student....come on DePaul... :-)

2/2 On a positive note, I rocked a job interview today! I was so bummed about the rejection from DePaul. That's okay though, plenty of other law schools out there!

2/8 Decision mailed from Santa Clara. Not feeling too confident about the decision though...

2/22 No love from Marquette....this cycle officially sucks for me

2/28 Deferred via status checker at UA-LR...not a rejection, but oh my gosh, the waiting....will count as a waitlist

3/1 Decision mailed from Kentucky...that was fast and probably not favorable. In review at Illinois and New England

3/4 Out at Illinois via email...pretty lame to get that email at work. Oh well, I spent three years at Illinois for grad school and didn't really want to spent another couple of years here anyway. Decision mailed at Stetson...fingers crossed!

3/8 Decision mailed from Northeastern. Sent an LOCI to UA-LR. Complete at William Mitchell. I just want to go to law school.

3/11 Waitlisted at Suffolk. Will request to stay on the wait list.

3/12 Deferred at Nebraska. Will count this at a waitlist. Out at Northeastern.

3/13 Total panic when I saw a thin envelope from UA-LR. A wave of relief as it was just about financial aid. Sent LOCIs to Nebraska and Suffolk.

3/15 Will be considered for PT program at Stetson. Praying that Nebraska decides to let me in...LOVE the law/psych program

3/18 In at UBalt via email. In at William Mitchell via status checker with a deposit listed and an intent to enroll form mailed today. Decision mailed for PT program at Stetson..that was super fast.

3/19 Official acceptance today from NESL in a big envelope.

3/22 Rejected from ASU via snail mail. Official acceptance from William Mitchell in a big envelope :-)

3-23 Accepted to Stetson's PT program after being rejected for FT

3/24 Decision mailed from UNM...not going to get my hopes up, but it would be nice.

3/26 Wished Miami would have just said no in the email they sent instead of requesting me to log on to my UM account

3/28 On hold at Louisville

4/3 Out at UNM and withdrew from UBalt

4/4 Email from UALR, asking if I'm still interested in Bowen and if I am interested in PT. Decided that I am still interested in Bowen. I should have a decision in 2 weeks.

4/8 Short, to the point rejection letter from UA-Fayetteville

4/9 Accepted off the waitlist at Suffolk

4/12 Decision mailed from Gonzaga....more waiting

4/14 Accepted to the part time program at UA-LR. Offered a scholarship to pay my out of state fees...this makes UA-LR a contender. Sent letters of withdrawal to NESL and Stetson

4/17 Nebraska says no. Sad face. Little Rock, here I come.

5/4 Decision mailed from Vandy...my dream school. I am fully prepared for my rejection letter.

5/15 Letter from Louisville thanking me for my patience and rejecting me.

5/19 FINALLY rejected from Chicago Kent. My cycle is officially over...even though I made my decision weeks ago. It's nice to be done!

Hmm. I'm not completely certain on my top choice. I made sure they were all places I could see myself, but I I'll probably visit some campuses after the choices are narrowed down. What draws you to Marquette?

Thanks for the update! Lol, "soon" can mean so many things but I'm sure they're not as bad as my alma mater. Hopefully the delay is because we're both getting a wad of cash.
