I don't think Boalt is superior to SC. It's a head a bit in the rankings (though that teeters, and lately not in the right direction for Boalt), but SC will set you up VERY well in L.A. It's a very pleasant place to be, and the school is committed to extending the golden local name nationally (where it is obviously already quite respected). If not for the money, SC might STILL be the better choice.
