Extra Curricular Information

My undergrad GPA was very low and I knew this would count against me. I was tempted to write an addendum essay but did not have a good excuse for my poor academic record so I did not.

Four years after I graduated, I signed up for a paralegal certification continuing education program. I finished with a 3.56 GPA. Since it was not part of my undergrad program, I am not sure if this affected the admission results. I did make an indication of this within my admissions essay.

Additional info & updates

I decided to create an account because I did not see another account with my same low undergrad GPA. I'm not sure if there are others trying to attend law school with as low a GPA as I but I wanted to write this in case there were others discourage to submit applications.

Rooting for your Cal Western, It's a great school! Don't lose hope, I have a lsdas gpa just under 2.4 from a UC and I'm most likely headed to Maryland this fall. It's totally doable!
