Foster parent & adoptive mom looking to pursue family law and child & family advocacy (and possibly real estate law).

I really don't have the option to leave metro-Detroit because my husband's job is here.

Not completely thrilled with my LSAT score, but I didn't take any prep courses either. My undergraduate grades are 12-15 years old (and I had no intention of pursuing an advanced degree back then), so we'll see what happens.

My best feature is my letter of recommendation from my previous supervisor at Re/max and my personal statement which talks about my experience as a realtor, adoptive mom and foster parent.

Considering applying to Tom Cooley just to see if I can get scholarship money. Will consider if I can get a fee waiver. I was pleasantly surprised to get a fee waiver from Wayne State, but I know better than to get my hopes up just over that.
