Additional info & updates

1/xx - Applied to Alabama, Samford, and Florida State

2/13 - Accepted at Samford via snail mail

2/25 - Applied to Tulane and Wake Forest

2/27 - Got February LSAT score: 164

2/28 - Applied to Vanderbilt, Emory, and George Mason. Don't expect anything from Vandy or Emory, but I figured it was worth a shot.

3/1 - Had a slight freak out and applied to another safety. Applied to U of Miami right before the scholarship deadline. My big LSAT score/application weekend is coming to a close.

3/9 - Applied Chicago-Kent with fee waiver.

3/16 - Applied to Georgia State with fee waiver. FSU status check indicate they have mailed decision. It took them about two months, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since I took February LSAT.

3/24 - In at Miami via large envelope

3/25 - Received waitlist letter from FSU. Promptly called them to make sure they have my most up-to-date score. They confirm the on hold and the score. Twenty minutes later they call back to tell me I'm admitted. A little strange, but I'll take it.

3/27 - Rained all Spring Break at the beach. Upon return I find a rejection from Emory and a WL from Wake.

3/31 - Complete at Georgia State today (last one). Been in review at Tulane for about a week.

4/08 - Withdrew from Miami

4/10 - In at Chicago-Kent.

4/13 - Waitlisted at Tulane. WTF!? I've got your 75% right here! This ruins my day (and my cycle). $60,000 at Chi-Kent didn't even make me feel better.

4/20 - Ding at George Mason. This is oddly disappointing because I expected a waitlist. Though I didn't plan on attending, it hurts to get rejected by a school you don't feel has the reputation to do so. It seems I have been too optimistic about everything.

4/28 - Waitlisted at Georgia State. Still on Wake Forest waitlist after their first review. Received email today saying they would review it again after June 15.

5/1 - Cycle, why do you do this to me? In off Wake Forest's waitlist today. Apparently it was a mistake that I didn't get off the first time. Got the call and they were super nice about it. Probably my leading school right now. Will have to withdraw from others soon.

5/5 - Got a voicemail (thought it might be law school since no real person ever leaves one). Heard a voice that I didn't recognize. Got excited, but it was Samford to tell me I had $10,000 a year. Not only was it not Alabama, but it was a terrible offer. :|

5/18 - Status at Alabama complete. Called in to find out I'm waitlisted.

5/20 - Rejected at Vandy (not a surprise). Last decision. Trying to get of Bama's waitlist but it doesn't look good.

5/21 - Visited Wake Forest. Gated, bubble campus. Probably would have liked it there for undergraduate, but didn't get the best vibe from the graduate perspective. Visited law building and Admissions Director. Felt great about that. Certainly can't rule it out. Looks like a possibility.

5/28 - Visited Florida State. Really liked Tallahassee. The law building was a mash of downright old, dilapidated buildings and cutting edge modern ones. They also had these strange white houses. I think I'm leaning toward FSU (if I go at all this cycle).

6/1 - Withdrew $60,000 from Chicago-Kent.

6/17 - Withdrew from Cumberland a few days ago. I have all but withdrawn from Wake Forest. It looks like I'm going to ride out Alabama's waitlist while preparing to go to FSU.

You got some nice schools there. And congrats on the FSU acceptance, but what are your top choices right now?

Sorry about the waitlist. Did you get an email from them telling saying that you were waitlisted?

Just wondering... when do you plan on withdrawing from the schools that are for sure not in your top 3?
