Ok, so I haven't put any information here and I promise that I will during XMas Break, but I just got my first major acceptance today and I'm SO happy -- 3.5 years of hard work has finally paid off.. I GOT INTO BERKELEY! Definitely one of my top choices, I can't wait to fly out for ASW on April 3rd.
Berkeley timeline:
11/25: Complete
12/11: Sent to Review
12/12: ACCEPTED via phone call from Dean Tom
I can't believe he actually called, I'm so thrilled and honored at the same time. I know he must be incredibly busy and to take the time out of his day to call was a great touch -- especially after the mass e-mail from the admissions blog he sent out today.

Still in shock. So unbelievably excited, I can't even put it into words.
12/18: In at Georgetown! They mailed a small greeting-card type envelope to my home address. The personalized note from Dean Cornblatt was very nice. Georgetown would be a perfect fit as I love D.C. -- hopefully they'll send some finaid my way!
12/18: In at Yale.. Wow. So shocked, I blurted out "WHAT?" and Mr. Craig assured me that it was NOT a prank call.

Congrats again! Just wait till you get your binder, it'll make you love the school even more! I also didn't pick up the call because I was in a different time zone and sleeping, which worked out fabulously because then I had the voicemail to play to my family. I did write a quick thank you to him, but I'm sure it doesn't matter either way. Hopefully I'll see you at an admit weekend somewhere!
