Received my first acceptance packet today from Valparaiso. I was offered a 50% tuition reduction for my first year.

Just got my Dec. LSAT score of 157.... went 6 points higher than June....Still not as high as PT average, but hopefully good enough

Went up for review at UK yesterday, and updated status checker says "under review". I am assuming this means I have been deferred for future review. Better than a flat-out rejection, but I am ready to move forward, either way.

Just got accepted at U of L via phone call from the Dean of admissions!

Accepted to Creighton via big packet in the mail.

Last week I sent UK a LOCI with hopes that it will sway them in my favor when I go up for review again next week. I will be updating then either in tears or ecstatic. Hopefully I won't be deferred a second time.

Good luck on this cycle...being a non traditional student parent says a lot w/ adcoms (so I have been told) so hopefully you will get into all of your choices. I am doing the same thing applying early to a few schools but waiting on my Dec LSAT to apply for the rest. I have a much lower LSAT score than you so my chances are very slim. It's great seeing other parents on here really working towards a law degree. I'll be watching your progress & wishing you the best of luck :o)

Hey.I see a couple congrats are in order on your cycle so far! Which one are you leaning towards? As for me, I have been in review with UT since September so whatever. I am extremely happy with my offer from UALR, so I am pretty set on them as of now.

Hey, hopefully so! You definitely have the stats to get in there, and it's definitely admirable being a non-traditional student and wanting to go to law school. As for me, it's the question of the hour; I really have no clue where I'm going. These next two months should be QUITE interesting...

Yup, my status hasn't changed and no e-mail! Did your status checker change after you got the e-mail? I was really hoping this would be my last hold but I guess not! I sure hope we'll be classmates, I'd love to get in to UK. Congrats again!!
