1/30/09 Spoke with NCCU. They had a difficult time finding my name. Once my name was found I was informed my file was complete and is in line to be reviewed. After the phone call received an e-mail stating my file was complete.
1/31/09 Reject at Penn State. Small white envelope, but the rejection letter was very professional.
2/14/09 Accepted at Stetson! Happy Valentine's Day
2/16/09 Notified via that have received a scholarship from UM. However, the amount will be listed in a letter to arrive t a later date.

4/17/09 So my computer broke and the last thing on my mind has been updating this. So between 3/5 and now I've been accepted to NCCU, Indiana, and FSU. I withdrew my application from Cornell partially because I didn't want to order another transcript and partially because I receieved a grant at UF to cover my tuition for the first year. I will be attending UF in the fall because of their grant.

Good Luck Tuesday, October 14th, 2008 at 3:12 pm
13 days until scores...good luck!!
Less than 6 Days Sunday, October 19th, 2008 at 9:52 pm
Until we get those scores! Ahhhhh! If I did bad I'm honestly NOT telling anyone my score. I already told my family not to ask haha. I applied ED to UVA and everyone thinks I was crazy to do so because of not knowing my scores. But hey, it's my first choice, I don't have $60-75 to drop per app since I don't get fee waivers and I would love to know where I'm going by Dec so I can start getting ready! GOOD LUCK!

We are applying to a few of the same schools. Just wanted to wish you luck! :)

I see we're both applying to some of the best schools in the Southeast and Cornell (fingers crossed!) Wishing you all the best this cycle!

Thanks. Goodluck on your cycle. Have you heard of CLEO? I've applied to that program as well...still waiting to hear back though.

Wow, your new LSAT score is awesome! What was it before?
Sunday, January 4th, 2009 at 11:35 am
Wow, I really believe that your score increase will help you to make your dreams come true! Best of luck! And because I studied so hard as well, I have to ask... what was your secret, what section of the LSAT do you think you improved the most on? My most difficult section was Reading Comprehension. I especially had problems with the passages that had to do with the hard sciences and economics. I think that is the section that got me on test day, because in my test prep class I was consistently getting 150 test scores. On test day, the Reading Comp was my last section, and by then, my brain was tired.

By the way, you are my LSAT hero now! lol I think it is totally awesome that you took it again and achieved a much greater score. I wish I had the courage to do that... but I took it three times over 2 years and at this point, the only way I am going to take it again is if I don't have very good options in this cycle. Anyway, I will be watching your profile to see which great schools you get accepted to! Congrats, once again! I don't know what your goal was for the test, but you should be very proud to have such an increase. It will definitely work out in your favor!!!

I have a feeling that skimming is going to be a very important skill in law school... I have heard it is impossible to read everything and that they give you work that no one is able to do, but that you have to learn how to skim and read for whats important. I should work on that skill! lol. My top choices thus far are Oklahoma City, Washburn, UMKC, Hamline, William Mitchell, Vaparaiso. As you can see, I have a lot of top choices! We'll see what happens!
Monday, January 5th, 2009 at 8:40 am
I seriously doubt I will be accepted to all of my top schools, but I am trying to stay positive!
good luck! Sunday, January 18th, 2009 at 7:05 pm
Congrats on UM! It's a great school... and good luck with Howard! Stay positive!

Top School Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at 4:04 pm

Thursday, February 5th, 2009 at 12:52 pm
what school is ur number one choice?? are you looking to move out of florida?
Wednesday, February 18th, 2009 at 8:39 pm
Still trying to decide. I was pretty much set on Rutgers, but then I got some scholarship offers at other schools, so I'm still trying to figure all of that out. Right now I'm really leaning toward Stetson or UF, but who knows what'll arrive in tomorrows mail. Congrats on your acceptances. Where are you thinking of going?
PT @ Stetson Thursday, February 26th, 2009 at 2:15 pm
Yeah I only applied PT at Stetson
Thursday, March 5th, 2009 at 2:53 pm
Thanks so much! Congrats to you as well! Do you think you'll end up at Howard!? I go to school in DC, and love it here! If so, you'll have a blast! Anyway, best of luck with the rest of your notices! ...interested in seeing where you end up!
HOWARD!!! Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 at 11:08 pm
CONGRATS!!! Howard is better that any of of the other schools on your list!!! OK Cornell and Duke are great but HOWARD has more OCI's than even those two.
I'll keep my fingers crossed. It's a long shot for me. I do have a VERY stong personal statement let's see if that helps..
Congrat's again.

Howard Wednesday, March 18th, 2009 at 10:18 pm
Have you been up to visit Howard yet? I have yet to visit, but its definitely one of my top choices
Friday, March 27th, 2009 at 6:59 pm
I recommend Howard with scholarship or UF with resident tuitoin. UF is the best florida school, the provide resident tuition and they also place well outside of Florida. Plus its cheap at resident tuition. Howard does extremely well for African Americans in DC. You can't go wrong with either.

You are the reason (a representation) of why UF dropped in the rankings this year. The added scholarship money that you don't deserve just adds insult to injury. Be ready to finish at the bottom of the class despite your best efforts. You can ask all all the UF law alums with similar numbers that can't land a good job. You bring everyone smarter than you down. There are tons of people with numbers like yours that didn't get in. You aren't unique. You aren't special. And you are definitely not smart or deserving. You are just lucky (and everyone knows why) and it honestly sickens me, as an alum of the school and as an advocate of more difficult law school admissions standards. I worked harder than you, I am smarter than you, and I posted better numbers in every respect. Law school will be no different. Save me the story about "numbers aren't everything." Tell that to BigLaw and US News and World Report. Im clearly not bitter, as a graduate of UF. I'm just disgusted that mediocre students are dragging me down.
Unfortunate Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009 at 12:06 pm
Its unfortunate that a bitter, anonymous user chose your page on which to project his or her frustrations. Obviously he or she is having difficulty finding a job...and obviously it has nothing to do with the fact that he or she may simply be undeserving of the positions for which they have applied. Maybe its because they are simply at the bottom of the applicant pool...And maybe that has everything to do with his or her arrogance, insensitivity, intolerance, and ignorance...all of which make him or her special- but none of which make them desirable (to any law school or firm). "Anoymous" obviously undestands more about the value of diversity to UF than UF...but is just too much of a coward to stamp his name to his market research...Good luck with the job search "Anonymous"- And CONGRATS L.S.H on all of YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS!
Interesting Friday, April 24th, 2009 at 2:55 pm
How people choose to channel their insecurities and hate on the web. Once this person learns to love themselves/family/friends more they will spend less time hating. I encourage Mr./Mrs. annoymous to study diversity indepthly, and stop thinking with such a confined view on the world. His/Her comments are evidence as to why UF students need a student of your caliber, i.e. undergraduate involvement/GPA/background/history/so on. And further more need to encourage you to attend with scholarship money. Good Luck with your time at UF, you have delt with loser like this your whole life, so his comments are null and void. Congrats! wish you the best.
Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 at 12:32 pm
And anonymous is the reason why I hate the gators so much. Arrogant and always thinking they are better than everyone else. I'm sorry such a loser posted on profile. And you are certainly not a reason for why UF dropped in the ranking. That would be the school itself. Unfortunately, every now and then a real stuck up idiot will find a way to channel their anger over such a petty issue negatively, and some of us are the victims of it. Don't let this guy upset you. Congrats on your acceptance, although I do have to say: GO NOLES!
nice... UF in state and $$ Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 at 9:28 pm
what's the name of the UF scholarship? that's a nice deal, you'll only end up paying around $20,000 total tuition over 3 years
