This is prob the best school you got into. WM grads dominate the mn market. However, if you want to practice in socal I would re-take the LSAT and reapply to Southwestern for part time. 3-4 points should do the trick.

Where you should go depends on a lot of things. What type of law do you think you want to practice? Do you have any preferences about where you might like to live? Also, were you able to visit any schools? I found my visits to be very eye-opening.

where will you go?

Let's exchange contact info. I will be attending PhoenixLaw New Student Mixer in LA on June 3rd.

retake the lsat man. With 10 more points you could end up in top 50 schools and earn a better chance at a big law firm with a big paycheck. But if you really have to choose, go to Miss College. Its nationally well respected in comparison to your other options. Do you own research.

Making a decision...

I have a LSN contact that's chosen Hamline, and truthfully, it looks pretty good. The only thing I was worried about, was the weather snow). Someone else said something about William Mitchell in MN. That very well may be, however, I've never researched them. Here's what I advise. Decide where you can stand living, should you get stuck in that state, without the mobility that the national law schools have. You see, these are all regional schools. I personally turned down: -Phoenix School of Law (for profit) -Florida Coastal (for profit) -Jones -Mississippi College -Thomas Jefferson (too expensive for my taste). However, you are already in LA so you may be used to it. Many of your other schools listed, I just don't know enough about. As far as retaking, I say, "no." Here's why. 1. You are a non traditional student. You and I aren't getting any younger. 2. You have the connections so you don't need the rankings as much as we do. Live your life and go for it! Let us know what you decide! Best to you as well!
