Hey, I noticed you said your file was under review at UT, have you still not heard anything from them? I would think that being under "review" for so long, you would have heard something by now... I am in the same boat as you are. Good luck with your cycle!
Saturday's LSAT was crazy. It actually seemed easier than June's, but I had quite an adventure getting there due to icy roads (slid off road twice and ended up getting a ride to test site from the cop who responded to my accident with 2 minutes to spare!) Maybe after all of that drama the test really didn't phase me that much. I just hope I don't do worse.. I see that you still haven't heard from UT. When will they begin looking at apps?

I know your first few hearbacks have been negative, but hang in there! It looks like you've got a lot to offer, and schools will see that.
Question for you. I'm from the northeast, Buffalo to be exact, and I'm looking at the schools in Texas. I know you live there, and have applied to a couple Texas schools as well. However, I noticed there are some schools in Texas that you did not apply to. Being from the northeast, I have no idea the reputation on some of these schools and was wondering if you could enlighten me on them. What's the reputation around Texas for schools like Texas Wesleyan, Texas Southern, Saint Mary's and Southern Methodist? I appreciate your input!

That's awesome that you are in at one of your top choices, and with a scholarship! For me, I am hoping for UK. It is the closest to where I live and the easiest commute. I was put on hold a few weeks ago and will go back up for review on Feb. 8th. I am so nervous!! Keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Yeah, I'd say I'm about 90% sure that I'll be in Houston come fall. Just waiting to hear back from the gf's Teach for America placement. Houston is our #1, so if that comes through for her, we'll be there. Hopefully they give us her first choice. Congrats on South Texas and Arkansas, as well. Which are you leaning towards, staying in Houston or making the move?
Sorry to head about Syracuse. I was hoping to get accepted there too. I am glad to see you in at STCL. I am hoping to receive an acceptance soon from them.
Sorry, i won't be taking my name off the waitlist at UTK, but I'm wishing both of us luck (as we'll need more than luck to get off it) to hear positive news from them. I've heard UALR is pretty, but I'm concerned with the portability of that degree as I'd like to come back to NC, VA, or SC. Hopefully your cycle turns out the way you want!
Did tech wait list you? I saw the dates of sent and complete but your decision was April? I'm just wondering b/c I'm wait listed there since feb...and I need to go there financially speaking...
that is crazy, I got wait listed in feb and I interviewed w/a dean in late march...I've made it through all the wait list cuts, so I have no idea what their waiting for...3 of us interviewed on the same day, 1 got in, 1 got rejected, and I'm still in limbo...I've called and they said it could be to the end of may...they're lucky their cheap!
congrats on UALR! Was your deposit due April 15? Just wondering and waiting when the next group of wait list cuts or acceptances could happen...tech's tuition is what I need to be able to get my g/f the engagement ring she deserves!-thanks
