Additional info & updates

3-21-09 - Went to ASW at Campbell this weekend... Accepted at Pepperdine via their online system, but haven't received my formal packet yet, so unsure of scholarship (though that and the fee waiver were my incentives to apply). Still waiting on Stetson and UNC and hoping they come in April. Also had to choose between ASW at Pepperdine and South Carolina; I chose to go to the SC event, but if I'm still interested, I think I'll fly out later in the month. At this point, USC is in the lead for my choice. Virtual in-state tuition and a top-rated International MBA dual degree program are hard to beat.

3-23-09 - Received Pepperdine acceptance packet in the mail. $18,000 scholarship, renewable if in top 1/3 of class. File complete e-mail from Stetson.

4-1-09 - Withdrew from Campbell today... Wasn't willing to pay $200 for the possibility of a scholarship when other schools have already been forthcoming. Still waiting on Stetson and UNC...

4-14-09 - Withdrew from Pepperdine today. Great school, great location, but distance (other side of the country) at this point in my life and the scholarship contingency (top 1/3 of class) made me decide to attend elsewhere.

4-15-09 - Found out I was accepted by Stetson indirectly (e-mail for admitted students, nothing in the mail yet), no surprise there, though I am interested in seeing what the scholarship offer will be like. #1 pick right now is South Carolina. UNC still lurks in the shadows....

4-17-09 - Admitted packet in the mail from Stetson. Offer wasn't sufficient, so now i'm definitely going to USC. Go Gamecocks! haha
