Additional info & updates

A few thoughts on my cycle for anyone interested. Overall, I think things went very well and I'm happy with the result. One big lesson learned: show interest in schools "below" your numbers if you are interested in scholarships! As for why I didn't get into Yale and Stanford, or get more money from Columbia, Chicago, or NYU, I suspect it was a combination of a weak undergrad institution and an older, much lower LSAT score.

I chose Harvard over Michigan and NYU mostly because of a gut feeling that I would be happier there and would regret not having taken the opportunity to go to Harvard. I decided not to wait on Stanford before making a final decision--I'm pretty sure the final outcome would have been the same if I had been accepted there.

See you all in Cambridge next fall.

I think there is an error in your data regarding University of Chicago - did you really receive a decision the same day that you sent in the application? Feel free to delete this post once you see it...
