Additional info & updates

Although I am only 1 year removed from UG, I do have 15 years of work experience. 14 of that with 1 company.

Applied early at TU because they would admit me using my December score, then re-evaluate for scholarship once February scores were released.

I only applied to the four schools I am serious about attending.

03/14 - Received scholarship offer from TU, 24k per year, very pleased with that. On this same day got an acceptance call from OU, shocked at how fast that decision came as I just submitted my application 7 days before.

03/21 - Accepted today at OCU via online status checker. Interested to see what kind of scholarship offer I will receive.

03/22 - Accepted today at Arkansas via U.S. mail. Awesome scholarship too! $13000 first year as long as I stay in good standing, basically wipes away out of state fees plus a little bit more. After first year, which by then I should have residency, drops to $8000 per year if I stay in the top 20%. Don't care for the top 20% but their regular tuition is cheap enough that even if I lost that part of the scholarship I could still get out of there for around $32k.

03/24 - scholarship letter arrived from OU today. $5k first year only. Thought it would be about $5k but had hoped it would be renewable. That puts OU quite a bit higher than TU or Arkansas.

04/02 - finally received scholarship letter from OCU today. $26k/year, renewable as long as I stay in the top 50%. Descent offer but I really thought they would offer a full scholarship.

04/04 - withdrew from OCU today.

04/10 - paid my seat deposit at Tulsa today. Though I haven't completely decided between Tulsa and Arkansas. Seat deposit at Arkansas due this Friday. Hopefully I get the info I need before then so I don't have to double deposit.

04/13 - no answer from Tulsa yet so sent in seat deposit at Arkansas.

04/17 - Tulsa increased my scholarship to $27k/year. I withdrew from Arkansas and will be attending Tulsa this fall. Happy this process is over!
