Additional Information
Unless something drastic happens, I'll be joining the University of Virginia School of Law Class of 2011! Long wait doesn't necessarily mean reject/WL. Apparently sending in updated resume and keeping in touch with the admissions office was not a bad idea.
Sent=Date submitted on LSAC
Received=Date of Report (all were a bit later than intended due to delayed transcript from a university summer session)
Scholarships: William and Mary, Illinois, Lewis and Clark
Method of acceptance notification:
Emory- phone call, then package at permanent address
Georgetown- small, card-shaped envelope with seal on the back. access to admitted students site followed within the week.
Illinois - e-mail and big envelope, incl. scholarship info
William and Mary - e-mail and big envelope, incl. scholarship info
Lewis and Clark - small envelope, incl. scholarship info
Cornell - e-mail, followed by big envelope
Virginia - Thin envelope by mail, followed by access to admitted students section on website
If I could do it again, I would probably actually *study* for the LSAT, since I didn't realize how important it was. I'm in at my top choice, so it worked out, but it might have been bad. Low GPAs can be made up for!
