Additional info & updates

I'm very disappointed in my LSAT score. I did much better on my practice tests. I don't know what happened.

12-11-08
Just got word that my third LOR came in on 12-8 so I'm all set...now the waiting begins.

2-9-09
Waitlisted at Loyola. I'm withdrawing given my results at DePaul especially since I liked DePaul better when I visited anyway.

2-13-09
Withdrew from Wisconsin today. I can't wait until the summer to make a decision. However, I was offered deferred admission for Fall 2010 and left open the possibility of transferring.

2-13-09
Offered $8,000 annual scholarship at Marquette. It appears that this scholarship is not conditional on maintaining a certain GPA. I was hoping for more.

2-16-09
I got a call tonight from the Dean at Loyola telling me I got accepted off of the waitlist. I don't know how they could change their mind in a week. Anyway, she said that I could "un-withdraw." I'm still leaning toward another school but I will wait and see what Loyola offers me.

2-27-09
Visited Northeastern today and was very impressed: very accessible campus, great new facility, excited students. I also really like the co-op program.

3-22-09
I've made the decision to go to Northeastern. I love the co-op program and the school has great faculty and an excellent curriculum in my area of interest (labor and employment law). I also like the school's philosophy of teaching law in a social context and supporting public interest. On Friday, I learned that I would be awarded one of the school's public interest law scholarships. It is a great honor that makes the decision to attend a no-brainer.

I still haven't heard back from Chicago-Kent, but I will update my profile if I ever here back from them. However, I will be withdrawing from all schools soon.

Good luck with your cycle.

...on your acceptances! I've received the same offer from Northeastern. Do you think you are likely to attend NUSL? It looks like you were offered several very generous scholarships!
