01/05/2012-Washington and Lee application complete according to an e-mail and their status checker, first one.

01/08/2012-All applications are received according to LSAC, now the waiting game begins.

01/11/2012-Under review at Washington and Lee...wow that was fast.

01/18/2012-Received a few waiver from Vanderbilt, UVA, and BU. I know my LSAT is low for those schools but I figured I might as well try and hope my GPA and softs make up for it.

01/19/2012-Accepted to Washington and Lee today via email! So nice to start the cycle with an acceptance.

01/20/2012-Accepted to Arkansas via regular mail! It's a safety school but it is still nice to get in. 2 for 2 so far!

01/22/2012-Under review at the University of Kentucky and the University of Alabama via status checker. Really hoping for Alabama since it is where I went to undergrad. Fingers crossed!

01/24/2012-Got an email from the University of Kentucky. They reviewed my file and are holding it for further consideration later in the admissions cycle. There is still hope!

01/25/2012-Got an email from the University of Miami to check the status of my application online. Accepted!! Hoping to receive some sort of scholarship/financial aid. As much as I would love to spend 3 years in Miami I am going to need significant funds to do so.
No rejections so far. I am sure they are coming, especially from my reach schools, but I am feeling pretty good so far about my cycle!

01/26/2012-Accepted to Mercer Law via status checker. A safety school but it's still nice to be 4/4. Hoping for some serious scholarship from them.

02/3/2012-Got an email from Mercer awarding me $30,000 a year. Wow. I wasn't really considering Mercer but now I may have to take a second look.

02/10/2012-Under review at Wake Forest. Still waiting to hear from Alabama...

02/12/2012-Under review at Ole Miss. I've been complete at Boston University since 1/26 but the status date just changed to 02/09/2012. Will probably be getting a rejection letter in the mail soon but there is still a little bit of hope.

02/15/2012-Rejected from Boston University. Completed expected since my LSAT was much lower than their average, but it's still a little sad. First rejection.

02/23/2012-Rejected from Wake via e-mail. Sad, was hoping for a chance but didn't get it. Guess it is not meant to be.

02/24/2012-Accepted to Baylor for the summer via regular mail and a wonderful packet! I think I am going to hold out hope for the fall.

02/27/2012-Accepted to Ole Miss via regular mail. Hoping to get a significant scholarship.

03/7/2012-Accepted to Emory! In complete shock. Received the large packet in the mail unexpectedly. I am even more shocked that I received $54,000 in merit scholarship over three years. Definitely high on my list.

03/13/2012-Rejected from UVA as expected. Sad to see the rejection e-mail but my numbers were not even close.

03/19/2012-Accepted to SMU with $15,000 a year scholarship via a phone call! It was really great to get an acceptance call. May be taking a trip to Dallas soon.

03/23/2012-Waitlisted at William & Mary. Glad I wasn't rejected. Not sure I will be doing a letter of continued interest but it is still nice to have options.

04/11/2012-Accepted to Alabama!! SO SO SO Happy! Received a phone call then e-mail. Will most likely be attending in the fall but am still deciding. Also waitlisted at Kentucky...will not be sending a letter of continued interest in.

04/20/2012-Waitlisted at FSU. Will not be sending in a LOCI.

04/29/2012-Made my decision. I will be staying in Tuscaloosa. Roll Tide! So blessed for a wonderful cycle. Don't let numbers restrict you. Have a solid application and see what happens. I got into schools I shouldn't have and I got rejected or waitlisted at schools I thought I had a good shot. Keep your head up and good luck!

Hoping to get into Alabama. I'm excited to visit W&L in late March because the more I find out about it the more I like it. I am just not sure about living in Lexington Va. I love Tuscaloosa, so it will be hard for me to leave if I am accepted to UA.

Hi! Congrats on your cycleyou've been admitted to some of the most selective schools. :) I have a question for you: Were you admitted to the full-time day program at SMU? Or the part-time evening program? Thanks, and congrats to you again!

I got into the full time program at SMU. I am actually going to visit Dallas in a few weeks just to compare SMU to Alabama and Emory.
