I'll cross that bridge if I get to it, but right now I'm of the mindset "you only get one crack at law school so go to the best one you get into."

That was my mindset for LSAT prep too - don't skimp on preparing to the best of my ability because of cost. Granted, we're talking hundreds of $ versus hundreds of thousands of $ but still..

But I can imagine it would be hard to turn down a full ride at Columbia or Michigan, which are both definite possibilities for you (although for some reason you're not applying to Columbia?). – Mightyhim

Since I'm planning to work next year (assuming the bank I'm at now doesn't go the way of my previous employer), I don't plan on applying to any schools this cycle.
