Georgetown didn't send me anything to know I had been received or complete. Found out by going to their online status checker.

2/3/07--Cornell fee waiver arrives via mail at my permanent address. I e-mailed informing them I already applied -- they are going to write me a check for the money back.

2/6/07- E-mail from Emory inviting me to admitted students chat tonight. It's signed by one of the listed admissions contacts that is not assigned to me & haven't received anything in the mail. Wondering if this is a mistake or acceptance is imminent?

Annoyed at UCLA for being the only school to have said anything at all.

2/7/07 -- Large envelope from Emory. Woo hoo! I'm going to law school somewhere!

Vanderbilt online status checker shows decision mailed 2/5.

2/8/07 -- Acceptance letter from Vanderbilt in thin, plain envelope. Glad to have a choice!

2/10/07 -- Student written guide to Vanderbilt Law arrived. Looks interesting.

2/12/07 -- Thin envelope from Michigan. Scared the crap out of me. Turns out they were just telling me my application was complete even though they already told me by e-mail.

2/16/07 -- E-mail from Northwestern announcing a decision. Turns out by "decision" they mean "we don't know yet."

2/23/07 -- Georgetown status checker shows "decision." Eyeballing the mailbox. 2/26/07 -- Waitlist letter. Also another big package from Vanderbilt, who then called on 2/27.

3/2/07 -- Michigan e-mail asking if I would like to be on the waitlist.

3/3/07 -- Vanderbilt Scholarship letter

3/8 --E-mail from Cornell saying I got in! Withdrew from Georgetown. Ha.

3/9 -- Bad news letter from Berkeley at permanent address.

3/12 -- Columbia letter thin yellow envelope.

3/16 -- Very nice letter from USC in thin envelope.

3/21 -- Scholarship e-mail from Emory

3/27 -- Been out of town for a while. thin envelopes from Chicago, Stanford, and USC.

4/3 -- Been out of town for another few days -- several thin envelopes. Plus Emory's official scholarship letter.

4/11 -- Send withdrawal notices to Vanderbilt and USC.

4/12-- Thin letter from NYU.

4/16-- Sent in first deposit to Cornell, withdrew from Emory.

4/24 - Duke E-mail

4/26- Penn e-mail. I HATE WAITLISTS

5/16- Logged onto Northwestern status check. Waitlisted. No e-mail received.

5/18 -- After a few phone calls, UCLA told me I'd be put on the waitlist. They must have heard how much I love those.

6/14 -- Letter from Penn saying they won't have a seat for me.
