05/10/2010- I wait 8 months for ASU to respond and what do they tell me?? Wait some more!! Well, good thing GMU accepted us b/c we're headed to the east coast!!!

04/29/2010- Wow, after so long of no news, UNC says to wait longer on their list. Would have been nice to get in but we can't wait any longer. GMU or ASU it is.

03/31/2010- Waitlisted at Washington-St. Louis! That's way cool! I was sure I was stuffed. Schools are so funny...

03/8/2010- GMU gives me a scholarship for $8,000 a year if I stay in the top 25% of the class. GMU is looking more and more attractive....

03/02/2010- Rejections continue. Washington says no. Looks like our choices will be GMU and hopefully ASU and UNC.

03/01/2010- First rejection from Houston via status checker. Bummer. Oh well.

02/22/2010- Got accept to my home state school of UNM. Another option...but probably not going. We'll see.

02/20/2010- Snail mail waitlist notification from Indiana-Bloomington.

02/19/2010- Snail mail waitlist notification from Washington and Lee.

02/05/2010- Snail mail from Colorado-Boulder putting me on their waitlist. Decided to withdraw from the school. Still no rejections! :-)

02/01/2010- ASU emailed me saying they couldn't give me a straight acceptance or rejection. They moved me into the pool of regular applicants. That bugs...now I have to wait a while longer on a decision.

01/19/2010- Got GMU's official acceptance letter and a $20,000 a year scholarship offer from Inidiana.

01/10/2010- George Mason just called and accepted me! A good, competitive school will take me! I'm feeling really good right now. More information is coming in the mail...

01/07/2010- Just heard back from Indiana University-Indianapolis! They will also take me. I'll get scholarship and other details in the mail soon. It's good to know a ranked school will take me. ;-)

12/03/2009- Michigan State will take me and gave me a full-tuition scholarship. It is nice to know I can go somewhere for practically free.

10/28/2009- Arizona State has a non-binding early decision process so I will apply there by November 1st. ASU has a new center for international studies which is attractive.

10/28/2009- Got back the second LSAT. The 158 was a few points lower than my practice test average so it was a little disappointing but it is good enough for me to press forward. I'll be leaning a lot on my GPA and extracurricular activities for admission.

10/13/2009- Got engaged same weekend as first LSAT; didn't go well so waiting for second LSAT score this weekend! Come on!
