Extra Curricular Information

Wasn't going to make an account, but decided since I used LSN enough, it would be unfair if I didn't leave my piece. Got bad grades, which I wrote an addendum for, mostly because I changed majors twice, and I worked 20-40 hours a week all throughout undergrad. Paid 100% of my own education. Was placed on academic probation for one semester, but all other C&F is clean.

Did some things while at school, like wrote for award-winning newspaper and taught international students English. Also studied abroad, taught English in Korea, have been to 26 different countries. My PS was meh, but a decent DS.

Also submitted apps late, since I had trouble with my LoR not getting in, and taking Dec LSAT.

4-23-12 WUSTL it is.

4-9-12 Scholarship money from IIT-Kent via snail mail, 13k a year with no stips. But already withdrew from school.

4-2-12 First round of withdraws. Going to stay on some waitlists just for curiosity, but will probably end my cycle soon. Down to 1. WUSTL 2. Fordham 3. GW.

3-29-12 Accepted at IIT-Kent via status checker, then email a few hours later.

3-28-12 Rejected at Hastings via email.

3-20-12 Accepted at Colorado via snail mail. Was expecting a Waitlist, but hard to tell since little stats with my numbers and OOS.

3-16-12 Accepted at Indiana via email. Email came after 10 p.m. on a Friday. Working hard in Bloomington.

3-14-12 $10k a year with no stips from Washington University via email.

3-6-12 Accepted at George Mason via phone call.

3-5-12 Accepted at Illinois via email with a $5,000 a year scholarship. Yay! First money.

Waitlisted at Cardozo via email. Visited schooled, talked to adcomm, and had another interview over phone, and still waitlisted. Thought I would be in here. Oh well.

3-1-12 Accepted at Temple via status checker. 10 Minutes from my house, and cheap.

Waitlisted by Fordham via status checker. Expected that one.

2-29-12 Rejected at the University of Washington via email. Sad Leap Day.

2-22-12 Accepted at WUSTL via email. Hoping for scholarship money soon. First acceptance feels good.

2-14-12 Waitlisted at GW via email. On Valentine's day :( Somewhat a reach with my GPA, so not totally heart broken.

2-10-12 Waitlisted at Brooklyn via status checker. Little surprised.
