03/05/10- I received a letter from Nebraska Law today. It said my application was deferred, so I marked waitlist on the decision tracker.

03/01/10- I received my official waitlist letter from Syracuse today. Hopefully, they offer the position to students on the wait lists soon.

02/25/10- Awarded a $10,000 per year scholarship at the University of Dayton.

02/22/20- I received a letter today from West Virginia explaining their "pooled" status. They stressed it was NOT a wait list. It is a determination that their admissions committee makes when they review application and decide that the application does not merit admission or denial. They review the "pool" of applicants a second time and then made determinations on admissions offers.

02/22/10- Withdrew from Creighton, Toledo, Tulsa and Idaho. Hopefully, they offer the position to students on the wait lists soon.

02/17/10- West Virginia status changed to "pooled." I called the admissions office and they said it meant that the committee wanted to review my application a second time before making a decision. So, essentially a waitlist.

02/12/10- Admitted to Idaho. Their Director of Admissions emailed and called me to inform me of the decision.

01/31/10- Louisville Law Admissions advised me a decision letter was mailed on 01/26/2010.

01/31/10- Baylor Law Status Checker indicates a letter has been mailed. Denied...letter received on 02/04/10.

01/27/10- Under review at West Virginia Law.

01/25/10- Denied at Santa Clara.

01/25/10- Admitted to Creighton School of Law. I received my acceptance letter today. It was dated January 22nd. It came in a large white envelope. I was award a 25% tuition scholarship. It also came in a large packet.

01/21/10- Denied at Pittsburgh Law. The losing streak continues. I received my rejection letter today. It was dated 01/12/10. The letter was nice, referring to "great qualities in your application and know that you will add much to another law school." I wonder if it was a form letter.

01/21/10- Admitted to Ohio Northern University College of Law per status checker. At least I think....it has the seat desposit amounts and due dates listed which is new along with my status changing to decision rendered. This breaks the streak of three rejections. It takes the sting out of the Pitt news today.
I received my official acceptance letter on Saturday, January 23rd. It came in a large packet.

01/20/10- Denied at DePaul Law. I received my rejection letter today. Two in a row. I hope the next one breaks the string.

01/12/10- Denied at Case Western Reserve Law. My first rejection. Received via email.

01/02/10- Admitted to the University of Maine School of Law today. The letter was dated December 28th. It came in a small envelope. The letter indicated every admitted student is considered for scholarship money. I'm now in Tier 2.

12/29/09- Wisconsin file in review according to status checker.

12/24/09- Admitted to Toledo. It was a nice Christmas Eve surprise. It came in a small envelope, so I was a little surprised it was an acceptance letter. No indication of a scholarship offer.

12/18/09- Under review at Penn State.

12/17/09- Admitted to Valparaiso with a 50% scholarship (approximately $18,000 per year)

12/14/09- Held for regular decision at IU-B.

12/04/09- Admitted to Tulsa with an $8000 per year scholarship.

11/24/09- Idaho file in review.

11/17/09- Wake Forest file in administrative review.
