I was the Associate Editor for my school's undergraduate newspaper my senior year and the Sports Editor my junior year. I was a Staff writer for the paper since my sophomore year.
- I wrote an article investigating the layoffs of 8 full-time employees at the undergraduate library, where I was a student-employee for three years. I looked into the school's negligent policies and disregard for its mission statement regarding these layoffs and exposed certain administrators in this negligence.
- This article was the subject of my personal statement.

I was a student ambassador for all four years of my undergraduate career.

I was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity.

I also interned at a state representative's office the summer after my sophomore year and at the local office of the Department of Homeland Security's Citizenship and Immigration Services the summer after my junior year.
