Additional info & updates

I applied to a bunch because I have no idea where I have a shot, given that I am a URM with a crappy GPA and a decent LSAT. And, I am a late applicant! (sent all apps during March). I will be updating my applications as decisions come in.

3/17 - Got accepted to Baltimore. :-)

3/20 - 4/01 - Got accepted into St. Thomas- Florida, University of St.Thomas Minneapolis, and Florida Coastal

4/2-4/7 - Waitlisted at American and Loyola Chicago, Got accepted to Rutgers!

4/7 - So far I'm leaning Rutgers, BUT I am EXTREMELY expressed by the University of St. Thomas - Minneapolis and I'm considering paying them a visit soon. I also like Uni of Baltimore... Most of my deposits are due on 4/15 so this is a tough decision. Getting off American's waitlist would make things much easier though :-)

4/27 So far I'm heavily leaning Rutgers.

Hey. Thank you! I actually have yet to visit either campus (although I have been to Miami many times), but now I am so torn about where to go! In theory FSU is "better" but I just don't know how I feel about Tallahassee yet!!! Congrats on your acceptance to Baltimore! :)

Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I plan to visit Stetson at their Open House on April 4th. Loyola's is the 17th. I see that you are applying to Stetson...good luck on that! I know they extended their application deadline to April 1st soooo GOOD LUCK!!! :-)

Congrats on UB! I sent my application in late February, but haven't gotten anything at all from them, not even a complete postcard. How did they notify you?

Thanks

Hey there. Thanks a lot for your comment, that makes a lot of sense. I have heard quite a bit about FIU and how fast they are growing so that's why I have been considering. I just paid my seat deposit at Nova yesterday, so I am pretty sure that is where I will be going. Congrats on your acceptance to Baltimore! Which is your first choice?

Alabama first, then Tulane (Obviously I expect to get rejected from Vandy). Of the schools I have gotten into though, Florida State is number 1.

Good work with withdrawing from B-More. Although the school isn't that bad, the city is shit. Every time I go I feel like I need to take a bath, and lock my car with armor plates like Batman. Rutgers is a good choice. Not really that much of a better city, but Rutger's campus is nice. Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

thanks, and congrats

Congrats on Rutgers! I've heard it's very easy to get in-state tuition there; the first year even. Might be something to consider.
