Additional info & updates

Twenty yrs. of work experience.

Worked 40 hrs. a wk while attending UG.

Yes, I am in split score hell...in over my head, during first two years of UG college: young and unfocused.

Evening division is my 1st choice...Willing to attend Loyola Law and Southwestern Law or LaVerne School of Law. UCLA and USC maybe out of reach. Just want a shot...so stay tuned.

Taking LSAT in 12/08 - finishing up Personal Stmt. and GPA addendum.

WELL..."The Dream" is over for me, for now....

"Sigh"...All I can say is that my pursuit to attend law school is over...the LSAT standard was definitely my weakness...Loyola and Southwestern were my 1st and 2nd choices, however it was too difficult to get in at this time (their LSAT standards for this admissions cycle are a b*tch!!!). Besides, I'm 40 yrs. old and maybe it's not the right time in my life to take on $100K in student loan debt. Yes, I know U of Laverne and Western State are still out there, but both law schools are too far away to drive to.

I'm going to pursue my Master's Degree and in two years, maybe the admissions standards will soften up...

Damn it (using Jack Bauer voice)! I really wanted this!!! Goodbye J.D....hello MBA or MPA, lol!!!

I wish everyone the best...

Good luck, Crusader. Hope your cycle goes well. I just took the Dec 08 LSAT myself.

Loyola's admissions committee's decision definitely surprised me. However, I'm not from California so I'd chalk it up to that. I hope you have a much better time with them. Good luck!
