9-26-09: Thankfully I got the LSAT out of the way during the summer and am not taking it today. I basically got lucky and matched the maximum score I was practicing at (I still don't know how I got every Dinosaur question right). I've gotten a good number of app fee waivers so far, although I would like to get a couple more, especially from my safety schools like UW and UMN. Ideally I think I'd like to stay in the Midwest but I'm willing to go anywhere if the school is right. Looking forward to getting everything shipped out by the end of next month.

10-21-09: Finally got all my LOR and Transcripts in and had time today to send out a bunch of Apps. Hoping to hear back from Duke by the end of next week from the Priority Track. This weekend is my schools fall break so I'm hoping to have all my apps out by Sunday.

10-24-09: Well that's 14 done with. Still contemplating whether or not to apply at Yale. I'd really still like Wisc and Minnesota to give me fee waivers, but I'm not gonna apply to those without a waiver. Glad to have so many done with and am looking forward to hearing back.

11-2-09: Just got my acceptance email to Duke. Glad to be in somewhere for sure. We'll see how the rest of them pan out.

11-16-09: Its only the middle of November and my patience is already running thin. I check my online statuses everyday only to find them unchanged. Just really want to know what my options are. I may go crazy by April.

11-18-09: Just realized this morning that a decision was rendered on my app to Georgetown on the 16th. Hoping to be notified via snail mail by the end of the week.

11-19-09: Phone call a few minutes ago congratulating on my acceptance to Texas Law. She said my acceptance package went out today and that they would send out scholarship info by next week. 2 down, about 14 to go.

11-20-09: Georgetown psyched me out today. Really small letter and envelope. But I was accepted. 3 for 3.

11-28-09: Scholarship letter from UT today. Offered instate tuition and 12k to boot. Hopefully the other schools follow suit.

12-4-09: Growing impatient again. Under review at Penn tho.

12-10-09: Total psyche out from USC today. Big package = invitation to apply for a scholarship.

12-14-09: Waitlisted today by ND. Decided just to withdraw my application. Not a top choice so I'm not too disappointed, just makes me nervous going forward...

12-19-09: On vacation, just checked my email and saw I had an email from U of I offering me admission and a full in-state scholarship for 33 a year.

12-21-09: Decision finalized from USC. I guess I'll have to wait until I go back home around New Years to find out about this one. Under review at Chicago too.

1-4-09: Went and picked up my held mail today. Big packet from Cornell and U of I, letter from USC. Nothing from NYU tho... :-(

1-12-10: Mix of good and bad news today. Phone call from the Assistant Dean of Admissions at Penn sayin I was accepted. Email from U of Mich saying they've reviewed my application and are waiting to make a decision in the full light of the applicant pool. A real high, followed by a buzz kill.

1-14-10: Email from Columbia asking for a grade update.
