Additional info & updates

$5,000 grant at Hastings- better than the big fat $0 I was expecting

Offered $11,000 merit aid at Santa Clara

$17,000 non-renewable merit aid at USD

Boalt, why you'd have to go and crush my sense of self-worth?

I'm not surprised by the USC rejection- I'm just glad I didn't have to wait until May for it.

Accepted at Davis via online status check...now I'm a little nervous- I'll be heading out to San Francisco to look at Hastings mid-April, but Davis wants an aye or nay by April 1. I hate making decisions.

Ok, UCLA, explain to me *why* it takes two weeks for a puny little rejection letter to go from CA to Chicago. My mom's St. Paddy's day card made it in 3 days. Bastards started to get my hopes up...only to be crushed to smithereens

3/29: Withdrew from Santa Clara today, will be withdrawing from Loyola and USD as soon as I can scrounge up some stamps

I haven't actually visited the campus, but I'm originally from the Bay Area so I know San Francisco pretty well.. I like the rest of SF well enough to make going to school in a semi-seedy area a fair trade for the chance to live in an awesome city.

Congrats

Congrats on Hastings, too bad for Boalt. I totally agree with you on Hastings, its worth it to be in sf.

to Boalt. I agree, we'll spit on Boalt from SF...except I haven't gotten into Hastings yet :-) I agree with you on TFA too, I didn't do it myself, but have friends who did. As for UCLA, I'm not holding my breath, but I'm not sure I'd go there over Hastings anyway because I want to practice in Northern Cali.

Congrats on all! question, does hastings really mail the letter on the date the online status turns to "decision"? it is a letter right?

...saw you'll be attending in the Fall. Thought I'd try to get to know now people I'll see in August. Do you know much about the tower?

Hastings Decision

hey...so you got your Hastings decision fairly quickly after your status changed to "decision"? Mine has been at "decision" since 4/2...but I'm still waiting for the actual letter in the mail...it's already 4/13!
