Additional info & updates

Basically decided in late September I was going to try to go to Law school. I rushed the decision but didn't want to wait until 2010 to start.

Scholarship(s) are per year

2/16- Just got my first Acceptance, it was from PSU. Got word via email so not sure yet on any scholarship package. Wish they were all this quick.

2/17- Got accepted to Hofstra with a very nice Scholarship package. After hearing from Penn State I ruled them out but now I feel like I will need to give a second look. Also a nice handwritten note which seems to be a common thing for them. But it was still a nice touch.

3/11- Started thinking about withdrawing hitting the books again to raise my LSAT score. Thinking it has more to do with the fact I haven't heard anything recently but not sure. Birthday is coming up and I would love a nice gift from Temple.

3/12- So Catholic's status update states my decision has been mailed. Read on TLS that if I got in I should be getting an email later tonight. Keeping my figures crossed Catholic doesn't ruin my birthday celebration.

3/13- Got the email from Catholic this afternoon that I have been accepted. Hooray, hopefully this just means a better chance at Temple and Pitt but I am not holding my breathe

3/24- So I got a letter from Pitt, ACCEPTED. I didn't think I was actually going to get in there. This past weekend visited Penn State and Hofstra. Really liked PSU think they are on an upward trajectory and they are putting their money ($125 million) where their mouth is. Tough decision coming up with the deadline at PSU being April 1st.

3/27- Well "Decision has been made on Application" for Temple which means I dinged or am waitlisted. Ohhh well it was a reach to think I could get into Temple. Looks like its down to Pitt and PSU because at this point I don't think I am hearing from villanova anytime soon. Plus without scholarship it will be so expensive.
