Additional info & updates

April 3rd: Rejected at UChicago... no surprise at all, but was very happy with a great personalized letter from the Dean of Admissions. It was a great touch from a great school! Waiting on Financial Aid info from Madison, and my decision should be pretty much done.

March 22nd: Waitlisted at Villanova and deferred at Chicago-Kent? This cycle is so confusing! I'm in at the 35th ranked school, but schools like San Fran and Villanova waitlist me? I don't get it...

March 12th: I GOT INTO WISCONSIN!!! I also got rejected at Minnesota and UPenn, but neither of those really bothered me after i got into Wisconsin! Financial info coming in the next few weeks

March 6th: Waitlisted at Indiana - Bloomington. I'll be accepting this waitlist spot and we'll see what happens!

March 3rd: Got a single page rejection from UCLA... not surprised, but this one was very disappointing, and UCLA was my first choice. Things can only go up from here I suppose! (1-7-1 so far)

March 1st: Got a rejection letter from Boston College. Again, not a big surprise

Feb 25th: e-mail rejection from Georgetown. No surprise here. Gotten way too used to these rejections now.

Feb 19th: Single page rejection from UC-Hastings... this is becoming all too familiar. But this one was a bit of a surprise... i thought at least a wait list.

February 16th: Got my single page rejection from NYU. No surprise here.

February 12th: Got waitlisted at USF... this was a HUGE surprise. Not really sure what to make of it. I wouldn't go to USF over Marquette anyway, but it was still really disappointing.

February 10th: Got an admission packet from Marquette. Scholarship info coming at the end of the month.

February 6th: Rejected at BC. A little disappointed, but it wasn't a huge surprise.

February 4th: GOT INTO MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY!!! I'm going to Law School next fall for sure!!!

January 14th: Got my first decision today... Rejection from Berkley via e-mail. Oh well, that's why i applied to so many top schools!

UCLA, Duke, UC-Berkley, Cornell, UPenn, NYU, Georgetown, and UChicago are my real stretches (and my preferences in that order!). If I can somehow get accepted at one of those schools, my decision will basically be made for me. The only thing that could really change that is big $$$ from Chicago-Kent, Wisconsin, Washington & Lee, UNC, or BC.

Marquette, UC-Hastings, UC-Davis, USF, USD, and New York Law are my safety schools, with all the others falling in the middle somewhere.

I sent out 25 applicatoins on December 18th and have received notifications of reception/completion from everyone (I think) with Marquette being last on January 7th. Hoping to hear back from some schools in the next couple weeks!

Hey there, saw you got into Wisconsin. I am planning on applying to UW Madison in a year. If you have any advice on the admissions for UW I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!
