Personal statement was about several (non-sob) experiences that framed my view of the law. Feel free to contact me for more information.

Additionally, I had several years of professional work experience (not directly related to the law) before applying.

I am only posting as I find out decisions, but will post everything (denials, waitlists, withdrawals, etc) when I hear back.

Extremely fortunate to have some great acceptances under my belt so far. Good luck to everyone!

Joey - I don't believe that my scholarship award had anything to do with need-based consideration, since it was offered immediately upon admission as a merit-based scholarship, before I had submitted the FAFSA or other paperwork. At least at the schools that gave me money, all of the awards were received prior to any need-based consideration, and I think this is very typical. That being said, most of these schools also offer need-based aid in the form of grants or loan support. However, usually you don't find that out until after the initial admittance and additional paperwork is required. So it's definitely still worth applying, and submitting financial need documentation as early as you can. Good luck!
