12/15/05: First reply...acceptance from UMich. Big white envelope, via UPS (yay for Michigan realizing the urgency of sending the letter!!) with blue plastic folder inside. SO glad to be in somewhere!! YAY!

1/25/06: Gtown status check changed to decision.

1/30/06: STILL waiting to hear from everywhere else. Going insane veeeerrrry slowly. This waiting game is the worst!

2/1/06: Rejection from Columbia today in a cream, business size envelope. Sad, but I'm not really that surprised. Anyway, I only applied because it is in NY and is a top 5 school; still, would have been nice to have the option. Sigh.

2/10/06: The inevitable...sigh. Bye bye Harvard.

on Michigan!! that is soo awesome. UCLA also rocks, but if you don't think you would go don't waste the $$$.

I felt the same way-- but finally got it together for the public policy essay. UCLA is a great school--- but so is UM. That said if I got into to both I would probably choose UM. And I would choose both over Gtown---But thats just me and I am very jelous that you could have the choice. Congrats!!!!!!
