Additional Information
3/10 - Though not a law school acceptance, I was accepted into the SEO program for this summer! What an exciting opportunity! I feel blessed to have had so much good news this cycle - it's really very humbling. Good luck everyone!
3/1 - Seat Deposit sent to Stanford! Excited!
2/26 - No financial help from Chicago means no go for anmo. So, barring an acceptance and some insane need-based aid from Hahvahd, looks like I'm Bay-bound!
2/15 - Finished up my withdrawing for the moment. I decided to let Cornell go as there was no real scenario in which I'd be attending. Withdrew from all the schools I haven't heard from, except Harvard. Looks like scholarship info could take another month or so from Stanford, so I'm going to wait a while longer to make any final decisions, though little to no money from Chicago and a rejection from Harvard would make my decision so much easier! Happy President's Day!
2/13 - 4 days straight with news --- sent to "reserve" at Columbia. Received the snail mail today. Seeing as how the earliest they'll get to my application is May, I'm officially withdrawing. 5 more schools to hear back from. Also, got my admission packet from Stanford today! Free t-shirt FTW! Although, I have no idea how I'll ever fit into a size Medium...
2/12 - Withdrew from Boston and Minnesota today. Hard to see that 90K gone with one click of the "send" button, but after yesterday there was really no chance I'd be attending either. I will keep Cornell and Chicago as I expect to hear back about financial aid from them soon. While Stanford is my clear #1, money does a funny thing to people.
2/11 - What the what?! IN @ STANFORD!!! Game changer. Ridiculous. What more could I ask for?
2/10 - Nearly a month w/o an update until.... Rejected @ Virginia! Oh well. Before the cycle it was one of my top choices, guess they didn't feel the same about me. At this point, I really am just waiting to her back from HSCN... not sure if the latter two could pull me from Chicago, but I'd love to have to make that decision. Honestly, the waiting game is getting old, I'm not sure how disappointed I'd be to get rejected from all my remaining schools right now. I think the loss of anxiety and return of sanity would far outweigh the disappointment. Whatever happens it's already been a better cycle than I could have hoped for!
1/15 - As expected... rejected from Michigan. This would be a lot worse if it weren't for yesterday's great news! Dear Penn, Michigan & Texas... if you hadn't already rejected me, I would've withdrawn today (ok, not really.)
1/14 - IN at Chicago! This kind of came out of nowhere, but what a great surprise! I hadn't really seen myself going there before today, but this decision really changes things.
1/12 - Got "Decision" showing up on my Michigan status checker, but with no access to the admitted student's site. I guess I'll know in 10-14 days what I already suspect... rejected. It's been a quiet 3 weeks, but I would rather the silence continue than receive another rejection.
12/17 - IN at Cornell! Happy day. I hope I get some money cause the 90,000 at BU is looking better and better by the day.
12/16 - I went up for the shot against Penn, but was... denied! Still trying to crack the T14.
12/14 - Scholarship offers from BU and Minnesota, 90,000 each over 3 years! WOW!
12/3 - First acceptance! Accepted at BU! Got the call this afternoon. I love Boston and have family there, so getting any scholarship money would make me ecstatic! Hopefully this is the first of many!
11/11 - Ouch UT... we could've been great together. Waiting for decisions bites. Being rejected bites harder.
10/28 - Apps are done, now the waiting begins! I was pleasantly surprised by the number of fee waivers, had resigned myself to shell out 1,000 for apps, but came in significantly under! Here's hoping I have a quick and happy cycle! Let me know your thoughts!
9/30/09 - Finishing up apps and PS, will send out everything by mid Oct. LSAT #2 hopefully went better than #1.

You have already had a successful cycle, and with more acceptances on the way, things can only get better :)

Hi-CONGRATS on all your acceptances so far!
I am still waiting for Cornell-deferred to RD *sigh*.
That scholly from BU has to be tempting, though!

thanks and congrats back at ya! Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 at 10:16 pm
Definitely excited about NYU and I may end up there. Congrats on Chicago. Glad to see my numbers twin is doing really well, too. As a UChicago undergrad, I really do love the place and I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have about the school, neighborhood, Chicago, etc. Best of luck with the rest of your cycle and making a decision!

thank you! SLS is where ill be. HLS has made me feel pretty crummy with this whole hold situation, so theyre not on my good list right now. If I get in eventually, I'll go to their ASW, but I've heard so many so-so things from H people versus unanimous great things from SLS, and quality of life is important to me. congrats again!!

Congrats! Glad to see a bunch of us westerners getting into Stanford, and hopefully attending in the fall. Now to wait for Chicago and Columbia to tell me I won't be getting any money...
They're very good Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 at 11:40 am
The sheer amount of contacts I've gotten outdoes most other schools combined. I'm very excited to actually make it official. See you at ASW!
Thank You! Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at 10:37 pm
And congrats on your acceptances!

Yup, I'm going for SEO, but I'm pretty sure I won't get it. I'm not sure I'll have enough luck in T14, and my GPA is pretty low compared to lots of other law school bound students, but I had to give it a shot anyway.
SEO is amazing!

Leaning Stanford, based in no small part on the promise of fresh tomatoes in December and the finest bread in the United States.
CONGRATS! Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 at 2:40 pm
Hi Anmo,
If you don't mind my asking, are you still waiting to hear back from Harvard even after sending in the Stanford seat deposit? Is this possible to do? I'd like to send in my seat deposit to a school due to the SEO deadline, but my applications at 2 schools are still pending. Thanks!

Hi!
Congrats on Stanford! Like you, the offer I got was for the 2010-11 school year. I assumed that I'd stay about as needy over 3 years. Just a rough estimate to help in decision making.
