Extra Curricular Information

Update: I completed my first year of Law school, and was fortunate enough to do very well. I was within the top 10% of my class at STU, and formaly applied to FSU College of Law. I accepted their offer, and currently have transferred and will graduate from FSU.

I hope this encourages prospective students with a below average GPA and a medicore (at best) LSAT, to apply and attent lower tier law schools. I was very, very pleased with the atmosphere and professor attention that was given to me at STU. Students with the dedication can and will be able to transfer from lower tier schools to tier one schools like FSU. Just because you did not get into these tier one schools, does not mean you cannot graduate from there one day.

I wish you all the best, and good luck, the legal world is intersting, professional, and overall an exciting time in my life.

All the best,

Anthony

I am a three year division one baseball player.

Had good Recs.
Had good community service.
Wrote a great personal statement (whatever that is worth)

Additional info & updates

I am a three year division one baseball player. My situation is a little tricky. My first two years i was all about Baseball, looking to getting drafted and had no ambition to pursue a legal degree. My GPA in those two years was a 2.02. In my Junior year, i got serious about school and the last two years i had a 3.3 GPA. I'm not sure if the college will see my improvement and my increased maturity. It is what it is though, a 2.64 GPA from the LSDAS, so not very good.

Congrats on St. Thomas! Hope the other schools let you in. I applied to Barry and FIU as well. Not too sure how I feel about moving to Miami though. Haha.

Congrats
