03/28/06 - Got back from visiting USD yesterday. Killer campus, nice facilities, friendly staff. They sure are making it real tough to turn down...

04/12/06 - Call it a sneaking suspicion, but I think my 153 first LSAT is killing me on this cycle. :(

If there is one thing any of you prospective applicants for the Fall of 2007 can learn from my profile and numbers is DO NOT FUCK UP ON THE FIRST LSAT. 'Nuff Said.

06/09/06 - E-mail from Arizona informing me of Dean's Merit Scholarship for $12,000 my first year and $8,000 in each of my next two years.

06/10/06 - Letter from USD informing me of a scholarship for $18,000 my first year.

Not in L.A.
Friday, December 02 2005 at 07:00 PM

I didn't go to school in L.A., I just live here now. I went to UC Davis. Congrats on Arizona- I'm seriously considering it. I hear Tucson's awesome.

USC/Arizona

Hey man, thanks for the comments and congrats on your acceptances. I think I'm visiting USC and UCLA in about 2 weeks, but I'll let you know if you have any questions. Let me know if you have any questions about Arizona (where to live, what its like, etc).

Thanks

Withdrawals
Friday, October 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

I've always had a list of my favorite schools and I just recently narrowed my choices down based on that list as well as financial aid and scholarships. I wish I could afford to go to any school I wanted, but that's not the case. Good luck to you in your decision!

USD
Monday, October 24 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey, thanks for checking out my LSN. I think I will be going to USD, if I don't get accepted to a UC. I'm going to Orange County Welcome Reception. I think I will be going to the last Preview Day, I think it's in late March. How about you? Congrats!

Good Luck on USC!!!

USD
Sunday, October 23 2005 at 08:00 PM

umm housing is super expensive in SD, but the campus is pretty.. I haven't managed to make it out to one of their forum days yet but i know they do tours every week. But It's just really expensive to live in san diego... :(

usd previews
Saturday, June 25 2005 at 08:00 PM

yah i went on march 6th. it looked good! maybe i'll see you there!

U of A
Friday, December 02 2005 at 07:00 PM

I haven't visited the campus- not until the 22nd of April. But I'm going a lot off of what people tell me of the school and Tucson- I hear it's right up my alley. Good luck- I know a USD Law grad who's now a judge in Alpine County- not bad at all!

$$$
Monday, August 15 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey Atto, I just got a call from U of A. They said more $$$ was available and they were calling to see what was up. I actually withdrew a month ago. If you're still looking at AZ you should call them right away! Good luck!!!

loyola
Monday, December 19 2005 at 07:00 PM

loyola is a really great school if you want to work in los angeles. i heard that the networking at loyola rivals usc. i know that loyola always has a really great jd/mba program. so yea, i would totally choose loyola over san diego. but the loyola campus is kinda ghetto. haha. the best of luck to you... try not to worry about it too much.

waitlist woes
Monday, December 19 2005 at 07:00 PM

some advice...i talked to a few people who use to do admissions for other schools and they told me that if im waitlisted for a school and i really want to go to that school then i should write a letter and definitely visit the school. and also try to schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor. if they dont do appointments then visit around 11:30pm and try to catch someone coming back for lunch. gotta be agressive, gotta make sure they know that u really want to go to that school and gotta put a face to ur name. haha...i sound pretty crazy huh?
