Additional Information
1/31/09- Got my acceptance letter from American this week. Lost the keys to my mailbox so I haven't been able to check my mailbox today.
2/1/09- Found my key today but nothing of substance in the mail. I think I will check it once a week instead of everyday. Try to build up the suspense.
10:15pm Just got an email stating my dean' certification isn't in yet. Which is frustrating since I gave them the form in December (they say they were waiting for the updated class rank list). I hope this doesn't mess up my chances to stay here for my JD.
2/2/09 Got big yellow package stating that I have been summoned. Opened it to find an acceptance to Emory.
2/16 Received email from Berkeley that my app passed an initial administrative review and will be forwarded to the Faculty Admissions Committee.
2/17 Northwestern placed me on hold
2/19 Accepted to Cardozo Law with full tuition scholarship
2/20 Received $60,000 (20k/yr) from Emory.
2/25/09 Received Georgetown acceptance letter. It came in a small envelope and scared me half to death because I thought it was a rejection
3/2/09 Placed on hold at Columbia
3/9/09 Waitlisted at George Washington University
3/12/09 Accepted to Cornell University via email and status checker. This decision keeps getting harder to make. But I love that I have options
Waitlisted at Duke and UVA
First rejection from Berkeley

You are offered a full ride at Cardozo because you are a black female. You haven't earned it. Your LSAT score is poor. Enjoy your life of entitlement and race-based awards.

LOL, at the because I'm black comment above. It couldn't be my 3.7 from and Ivy could it? It's just shameful white privilege doesn't get you as far as it used to huh? Darn, it. A new day has come. Where you actually have to prove yourself to be worthy. You couldn't go through half of the adversity I went through and do as well as I am doing in life. But anyway, God Bless all my haters!!!

Congrats on Georgetown! We have similar numbers and i only wish i had the same types of opportunities open to me.
Tune it out Sunday, May 31st, 2009 at 10:53 am
Don't listen to the haters, you got where you are because of your application and who you are a total package. They are probably just angry because they could not match your achievements. I have similar numbers and I hope for the same success in the 09-10 app cycle. Good luck at Georgetown (one of my top choices)!
Cornell? Friday, July 10th, 2009 at 3:59 pm

certain races must deserve greater rewards for poorer performance

90% of the students at Cardozo scored higher on their LSAT than you. You got in because of your race, not your resume.

Are you serious? You think you got in based on your 3.7 from an Ivy?? You got in because of the color of your skin. I'm not a hater, but come on, if you're seriously trying to say that you're 3.7 from an Ivy and 158 got you into Georgetown you're seriously deluded. BTW, I'd like to see how you're doing there... bottom 10%, 5%? Oh, and just FYI, Cornell is barely and Ivy, nice try though.
