I got accepted to Brooklyn today. Seeing as how our numbers are exactly the same from similar-caliber schools, you should be fine.
Thanks! I'm actually looking pretty heavily at Brooklyn, there's a decent shot I'll end up there. They haven't let me know yet, but I've been hearing they'll start notifying people about scholarships in March. I talked to a current 1L there, gave him my numbers (which are, of course, the same as yours), and he told me I should be looking at least $35K/year, if not a full ride. That should be good news for you, too!
Yeah, it was great getting an acceptance from them. However, I think I'd choose Brooklyn - it's ranked a good bit higher, and living in Downtown Brooklyn beats Newark any day, haha. Speaking of which, BLS told me today they're giving me a scholarship, but didn't say how much...I have to wait for the information to come in the mail.
Is that 33.7K per year? If so, that's awesome! That's close to a full ride, right?
BLS is giving me $39,700/yr! Looks like they want us both pretty badly!
