Additional info & updates

I am older than the typical law school applicant (I finished college in 2002) and have been working in a mid-sized hedge fund for the last three years. I tried to play up my real-world business and law experience and also tried to explain why my grade point average was impacted by some medical issues.

My decision came down to Vandy, Texas, and Wash U. All things being equal, I might have given the slight nod to Vandy. Out of the three, I thought Texas was the least impressive. When Wash U offered a little bit of money (and after I had an awesome visit there) I decided to attend there over Vandy.
