Additional Information

Dec. 16 2009 -- Decision mailed from DePaul. I am currently out of the country so I will let you know what it is when I find out. EDIT (Jan. 4 2010) --A roommate told me that the letter has "Welcome to Depaul" on it. I am in!

Dec. 23 2009 -- First acceptance. It only took Wisconsin one week from when I submitted to get back to me. WI is one of my top choices, so this is exciting.

Jan. 11 2010 -- In at Iowa via Email. Scholarship information coming soon.

Jan. 25 2010 -- Waitlisted at George Washington via regular mail. Thin, cream colored envelope, single page.

Jan. 28 2010 -- Accepted at Minnesota via voice-mail!

Jan. 29 2010 -- In at Illinois with $25,000/year guaranteed. I'm definitely excited about this one!

Feb. 1 2010 -- Received scholarship information from Minnesota. $12,000/year which, given that I get reciprocal in-state tuition at Minnesota, covers about 45% of tuition.

Feb. 5 2010 -- Status checker changed to "Decision Rendered" at Boston College. I called and they told me that I need to wait for the mail.

Feb. 8 2010 -- In at Ohio State via Email. In at Pittsburgh via regular mail.

Feb. 12 2010 -- Waitlisted at Boston College via regular mail. Went "Decision Rendered" on Feb 5.

Feb. 13 2010 -- In at Indiana with $15,000 a year! Regular mail, large package.

Feb. 24 2010 -- Waitlisted at American via Email. I suspect YP.

March 2 2010 -- Waitlisted at Boston University via regular mail.

Eeee I just got my WL letter from BC...yeah I don't know about Indiana, i definitely didn't have my heart set on them or anything, so I'm not too bummed, kind of confused because it seems that I am that awkward yellow dot in a sea of green dots on their graph...something about my application really turned them off??? I'm just about over iowa now too haha cbananna

I think I will withdraw from BC [and all future waitlists, maybe not Cornell ;)], I love the school and the idea of being in Boston, but the idea of waiting until the summer to find out is intimidating, and I'm guessing people picked from the waitlists don't get scholarship money (do they??) Just out of curiosity since we have very similar #s and schools list, why did you not apply to Washington and Lee? It's a top runner for me right now, what made you not apply? cbananna
